The City
[ ]Greenacres Park
Greenacres Park is probably the most beautiful place in the whole city – Flowers bloom, the grass grows long, lush and green, and numerous fountains are dotted around the immaculate lawns, spraying rainbows in all directions. Human couples walk down the paved ‘streets’ hand in hand, but for the most part, you as a dog can ignore them. The important thing here is the food. A few cafés are situated at the entrance, and the people often leave behind the foods, so full of sugar. It’s easy to simply pluck your favourite meal from the tables, as the waiters don’t mind. In winter, it is hardly any less pretty here, and a generally nice place all round.

[ ]Back Alley
It’s not well known, but this alleyway is the exact same one where plans for The Pit were first born. No more do the sleazy humans linger in this dingy lane, but it is far from safe. The real rebels of the streets can laze about between the damp walls, and a constant supply of fresh rat is all that is needed to feed them. Gangs lurk in the corners, ready to strike, and you’d better have nerves of steel if you want to be coming down here anytime soon. You have been warned…

[ ]The High Street
The High Street is basically the main road, which which runs through the centre of the city, from end to end. Needless to say, it is very busy, and usually jam-packed with cars, each one struggling to get to work on time. Shops line the sidewalk, and humans pace up and down, carrying briefcases, or pulling young children along by their hands. You can generally go un-noticed here, but no one’s promising you safety, as occasionally someone will come along looking for trouble…

[ ]The Power Plant
The Power Station is lingering on the outskirts of town, gloomy walls looming up over the buildings surrounding it. No more does pollution pump out the chimneys as it used to, but this place is far from safe. Most dogs can easily wriggle under the barbed wire fences, now torn apart and tattered, and can probably bust open the creaky front door. But inside, things look a mess. Corridors branch off in all directions; leading far away from the Welcome Room you find yourself it. Towards the back, should you find yourself out of the maze, there is a large generator room, the machines now rusted and dead. All stairways leading to the upper levels are locked tight, so it looks as if the ground floor is your only place to explore…

[ ]The Old Cinema
Amongst the towering skyscrapers and many houses, it seems as not all things are remembered. The Old Cinema, for one, is certainly forgotten. Dusty and creaking, it teeters on the brink of collapsing, but no one cares. Only an idiot would venture in there. Which makes it the perfect place for dogs. Sneak in the back way, and you find yourself amongst what seems like hundreds of screens, each bigger than the last. Lounge around on the rows of chairs, or take a look around the empty lobby. Be careful, though… You can never be too sure who else is in there with you…

The Countryside
[ ]Hangman's Woods
These are eerie places indeed. Towering trees loom to each side of you, pine needles scattered across the floor, crunching beneath your paws. Even in broad daylight, the suns rays find it hard to get to the ground here, and only a few dappled patches dance around at daytime. At night, you can barely see the nose in front of your face. Beware… Some looking for blood linger in the shadows, and are ready to pounce at anytime. Don’t come alone…

[ ]Daisy Fields
Daisy Fields are basically the main body of the countryside, and stretch on and on for miles. Long grass is almost the same length as your legs, and pretty little daisies sprout between the blades in spring. In winter, however, this place looses its beauty, and the ground becomes muddy and clogged up with water. A few trees are loosely dotted around here and there, and hills allow you to see even over to the city, if you look hard enough. A perfect place for a stroll, or if your intentions are filled with duties, even a place for a battle to be held…

[ ]Pates Manor
Pates Manor has been sitting atop a hill out in the country for as long as anyone can remember, and none dare go near it. It’s pretty easy to get inside, as all the boards locking it up have rotted through. Many rooms branch off from the main hall, each more interesting than the last. Fading wallpaper, mouldy furniture, haunting paintings of humans long dead… None quite know why it was abandoned, and no one wants to find out. It couldn’t have been a peaceful exit, and some whisper fearfully that ghosts wander about the locked attic, way up in the roof. It’s impossible to get up there, though, so for now, you may only explore the wonderful rooms and the gigantic, overgrown gardens…

[ ]The Pit
This is the one place that still holds some fear and respect out here in the country. Sure, its walls have been knocked down, and the fighting ring in the basement is clearly visible from above, but the scent of blood lingers on the air like a stain. This is the place it all started. All the menace, the hatred… It’s the reason why most still live in fear today. You can crawl down into the ruins if you really want to, but the only sensible reason for coming here is to relish on your past kills and successes, or to mourn how the city went wrong all because of such a little building…

[ ]Mother's River
Mother’s River runs down from the distant mountains to the shores of Ocean Lake, and like the name suggests, it is many female’s desired place to give birth to their pups. Oak trees line the banks, and provide shade on those harsh summer days. The sound of running water is relaxing, and sometimes, dogs even come here for reasons besides giving birth, but instead on teaching their pups how to swim. It’s a safe coven, and no gangs ever come here, whether they are kind or menacing. Well worth a visit, in anyone’s books.
